1. Our commitment
Ledgestone Security Partners intends this website to be usable by everyone, including people who navigate with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or voice control. Accessibility is treated as part of the site's maintenance rather than a one-off project.
2. Standard we work to
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Conformance means the site meets the success criteria at that level; we describe our current status as partially conformant, since parts of the site have not been independently audited.
3. Measures taken
- Semantic HTML landmarks, a single H1 per page and a logical heading order.
- A "skip to main content" link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Visible keyboard focus on all interactive elements; the site is fully operable without a mouse.
- Text and interface colours checked against WCAG contrast ratios of 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and controls.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields with persistent visible labels, required-field indicators and error text that is not colour-dependent.
- Animation suppressed automatically for visitors whose system requests reduced motion.
- Responsive layout that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px and remains usable at 200% zoom.
- The map embed on the contact page carries a descriptive title, and the same address is available as text.
4. Known limitations
- Third-party map embed: the interactive Google Maps frame on the contact page is outside our control and may not meet all Level AA criteria. The office address, phone number and hours are always provided as plain text alongside it.
- PDF documents: older proposal templates and datasheets may not be fully tagged. We will supply an accessible version of any document on request, normally within two business days.
5. How we assess
We combine automated testing with manual keyboard and screen-reader checks on each significant content change, and we review the whole site at least annually. Issues reported by visitors are prioritised ahead of scheduled work.
6. Feedback and assistance
If any part of this site prevents you from finding what you need, tell us and we will fix it. Email security@lgsspk.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line, or call 619-248-8258. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to describe our remedy or timeline within ten.
7. Alternative ways to reach us
Everything available on this website can also be obtained by phone or email, and we are glad to conduct the entire enquiry, assessment and proposal process by whichever channel works best for you. Our office at 1958 Holden Street, Carlsbad, CA 92009 is on an accessible ground floor with adjacent accessible parking; visits are by appointment.
